If you are a Gold Season Pass holder you have access to Golden Hour benefits. Golden Hour is the first hour after park opening.
How Golden Hours Enhance Your Season Pass
Your Gold Season Pass will act as a Timesaver Pass for the first hour of every day that the Theme Park is open helping you to get on the headliners ahead of the crowds.
Participating in Dollywood’s Golden Hours: What to Know
Passholders will use the TimeSaver entrance during this first hour and the ride host will scan their passes for entry. Each person in your party must be a Gold Passholder or they will not be allowed to participate in Golden Hour nor will they be able to go with you using your Gold Pass.
All passholders (4 years old and older) must have his or her own Gold Pass to be granted access to the Time Saver line during the first hour after park opening. The only exceptions would be if you have a child younger than 4 or if your child has the Pre-K Imagination Pass, he/she may enter with a Gold Passholder.
Golden Hours: Which Parks Are Included?
Do both Dollywood’s Theme Park and Splash Country offer Golden Hours? Yes they do! You can queue up in the Time Saver entrance at either park during the hour after the park opens to take advantage of this time saving feature that being a Gold Season Pass Holder offers.
Golden Hours: Understanding Participation Requirements
Regular ticket purchasers, Volunteer Season Passholders, or Silver Season Passholders will not be able to participate in Golden Hours per se, at least not without paying. If you are a regular ticket purchaser or Volunteer or Silver Season passholder and want to use the Time Saver entrance at rides, you will have to pay for the day. If you are a Gold Pass Holder and want to use Time Saver entrances for more than just the first hour of the park day, you can also pay for a Time Saver pass for the day. Maximizing Your Dollywood Experience with Golden Hours
Our goal when we visit Dollywood or Splash Country is to get as much done as we can with as little stress as possible and we have a feeling if you have read this far, that is your goal too! When we pay to visit Dollywood and spend most of the day waiting in line, not accomplishing as much as we had hoped for, we feel like we are wasting our money. Having a Gold Season Pass and using the Golden Hour will allow us more time to accomplish what we want to do in the parks (How can you visit Dollywood without taking in a show, shopping the crafters, or eating some delicious food) while not sacrificing riding the rides we were looking forward to doing. We feel like this is a good way to have your Cinnamon Bread and eat it too!(Pun Intended)
