We loved that after a busy day out, we could return to our cabin and still feel completely tucked away in the mountains. It felt secluded without being isolated, which is a hard balance to find and we didn’t have to drive for an hour to get to all the fun activities that both towns offer!

Let’s be honest: the star of the show here is the view. Every morning we woke up to the mist rolling across the ridgelines and soft golden light pouring through the windows. It was magical.
We spent countless hours out on the deck just soaking it all in. Whether sipping coffee in the morning or stargazing by the outdoor fireplace at night, the scenery never got old. We even snuck in time for family pictures with the backdrop of the Smokies!

Stepping inside Mountain Celebration felt like walking into a Christmas card. The interior is beautifully decorated, with vaulted ceilings, rustic accents, and large windows that bring the outdoors in.
The main living area was the perfect gathering space—cozy, comfortable, and full of natural light. We especially appreciated the fireplace and how spacious everything felt. We visited during Christmas time and they had it all decorated for the season!
The kitchen deserves a special shout-out. With an expansive island, modern appliances, and plenty of seating, it became our family’s favorite hangout spot. We baked Christmas cookies, played games, and shared meals all in one central place.

With the fireplace glowing and the mountains in the background, we had a simple but unforgettable birthday morning full of joy, laughter, and Mamaw’s homemade waffles! Of course we couldn’t forget cupcakes to make the celebration that much sweeter!

We spent evenings bundled up around the fire, sipping cocoa, roasting marshmallows, and just being together. It created that “mountain magic” feeling you can’t quite replicate anywhere else. Our sweet Milo (our pup) was at home being spoiled by family members so as much as we missed having him at the cabin with us, we knew he was in good hands.

One of the best things about Mountain Celebration is that it invites you to slow down. We didn’t feel pressure to go-go-go the entire trip. Instead, we read books by the fire, watched holiday movies, and played card games around the dining table. We thoroughly enjoyed being in the hot tub while we soaked up the mountain views. The movie theater was fantastic! All of our holiday favorites played on the giant screen during out trip! Our youngest kids loved the arcade machine! We cooked meals at the cabin and just really enjoyed everyone’s company.
