The open layout meant the kids had plenty of room to spread out with games and devices, while the cozy living area gave us a spot to relax around the fire in the evenings. The cabin blends rustic charm with modern comfort complete with wooden beams, warm lighting, a fully equipped kitchen, and bedrooms that feel like their own retreat.

From the cabin, it was an easy drive to Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas, one of our favorite annual traditions. If you’re visiting during November or December, this festival is a must-do, featuring millions of lights, festive shows, incredible décor, and holiday treats that could be their own vacation highlight.
We especially loved pairing our cabin stay with Dollywood’s holiday extras, like rope dropping Santa’s List, which saves so much time later in the day, and enjoying treats such as hot wassail, gingerbread funnel cake, or the classic cinnamon bread from The Grist Mill.
